The balcony, terrace and garden look across Grabs and Buchs towards the mountains. Liechtenstein, Toggenburg and Voralpsee are within easy reach. On some days, the valley sits below a layer of mist while the chalet is already in sunshine.

Access is via a paved mountain road. In summer, arriving by car or motorcycle is recommended because there is no bus stop at the chalet. In winter, a car fitted with winter tyres is required. On a few days each year, snow chains are also recommended. The chalet has private parking and an 11 kW EV charging point.
